Kaitlyn + Brent

Kaitlyn and Brent are getting married next year and reached out to me to capture some engagement photos for them! They live in San Luis Obispo right between Madonna Mountain and Bishops Peak, so Bishops seemed like the perfect spot to go for their photos.

Straight off the bat I clicked with Kaitlyn and Brent, and we chatted as we walked up the trail. During the shoot, the two of them joked around and were so easy to photograph. They have so much love for each other and were so comfortable in front of the camera. We got sooo lucky with beautiful weather AND the horses that graze at Bishops joined in too! They walked right up to Kaitlyn and Brent and were so curious.

I love engagement shoots because I truly get to just hang out and get to know my couples. Kaitlyn works at Cal Poly (where I went to college!) and Brent works for Firestone Walker Brewing Company! They brought a couple beers along with them to crack open at the end of their shoot which was a great personal touch for the photos. Brent is from Australia and is so excited to have his family fly out to California for their wedding in Paso. Because of COVID, it’s been difficult for him to be able to see them the past couple years.

I can’t wait to see what happens for these two in the future!
